If you have password protection for a module, this will mean that before the program can be loaded, the user must enter the correct password. This is especially important in a multi-user environment, where there can be more than one person accessing the modules simultaneously.
Setting up a password system allows for varying levels of access to each module, as well in Student Details, password protection to the tab level. The levels of access are: no access, view access, and edit access.

Because each school uses different attendance codes in keeping their attendance, Mac School allows each school to define up to 128 DAILY ATTENDANCE CODES.
Once the codes have been defined they are utilized by the Attendance module.

You may enter up to 128 PERIOD ATTENDANCE CODES to meet your school’s requirement. These codes will then be used to keep track of period by period or class attendance in the Attendance module.

The structure of your school timetable will be defined here. The school can identify:
• Fixed Days - operation on a Mon. to Fri. week or
• Relative Days - a 1 to 14 day cycle
• Number of periods in a day, and their times
• Number of blocks in the cycle

This is an example of a Fixed Days (Mon. to Fri.) 40 block cycle. The 40 block cycle accommodates a range of course times. It will be able to schedule classes that meet every day of the week, classes that only meet Mon., Wed., and Fri. or even classes that meet once a week that are 3 hours in length. It’s flexible to meet your school's needs.

This is an example of a Relative one day cycle - where every day is exactly the same. The number of blocks in the cycle is dependent on the number of periods in a day.

Classroom Setup allows you to identify the useable resources in your school - almost like creating a blueprint of your school.
The room information will be utilized for homerooms and scheduling purposes.

If your school has no need to track Lunch Status you can easily change the name of the field to suit your needs!
